Welcome, Fall!
We are ready to welcome in fall with this mixed media tree project.
We began by observing and sketching the trees found outside our Art room.
We then used oil pastels to color the trunks and branches, adding texture for bark.
The sky was created using a watercolor wash.
Students then colleged cut and turn pieces of tissue paper for the leaves.
Here are a couple of the finished trees, soon to be displayed in the hallway.
